Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)
Issy graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and is currently completing a Master of Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, further developing her expertise in athlete performance, injury prevention and evidence-based rehabilitation.
Since graduating, Issy has worked in musculoskeletal private practice across Queensland and South Australia, treating a wide variety of injuries and patients of all ages. She has experience in sports injury management, rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates, hydrotherapy and gym-based exercise rehabilitation.
Issy enjoys combining hands-on treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation to help her patients achieve their goals and return confidently to the activities they enjoy.
Through her involvement in elite sporting environments, she has developed a strong interest in sports physiotherapy, performance enhancement, and return-to-sport rehabilitation.
Clinically, Issy has particular interests in treating lower limb conditions, pre and post-surgery rehabilitation, and helping active individuals return to peak performance.
Outside of work, you’ll find Issy running, following the AFL, or spending time at the beach.
